It does not matter!!! You should send your diploma to be evaluated first, than you have to pass a TOEFL with the score of 550 or higher.
After that, you can apply to the North Carolina Board of Nursing (see this web site: http://www.ncbon.com/index.asp) for eligibility to take the NCLEX exam.

If you have a FAX number let me know because I have an application for nurses who get their education outside of US with a complete set of instructions (step-by-step) what to do. The one I have is for MA, but you can call them and I am sure they will point you to the same organization in your are.

i have diploma of sanitary pheldsher.it is my problem.i am looking for ways to
convert it in registered nurse diploma.i heard that it is possible.unfortunate,have no idea how.
and no,i don't have fax mashine,but thank you anyway.

First of all, you have to send your diploma to the diploma evaluation center in your area. After that, you will see how many credits you still need to take before the test. Personally, I don't know anybody who was allowed to take a test w/o taking some credits in one of the local colleges! Besides that, you have to pass TOEFL to show your English level.
There is an organization that either allows or rejects you for this test. I don't remember its address, but I think I still have it at home.
So, prepare yourself to the long way of studying before the actual test!

Thanks for answering.I do know about certification process(even tried once),but
i could't find colledges that would allow me to take classes to remove deficiency in
my credits.
If you had similar situation, please,tell me how you received your RN license.

First of all, you have to start with your Diploma evaluation. There are organizations doing that.
