4    I like numbers so there are some for you. Here is my Math. In L.A. there are about 5 million russian speaking people, I know that for sure. So total in CA there should be around 5.5-6 million, because San Fransisco and San Diego have pretty big russian communities too. I live in WA state so I know that in Seattle we have 60,000 and on the east side of the mountains there are about the same = 120,000.
On the East Coast especially in N.Y there are 4-6 million too. Then add up big russian centers like Boston and Chicago, and also Atlanta and Denver has big communities too and you get total of 12-15 million people around the U.S. Almost every tiny town or city in America has russian speaking peope. I had a chance to attend a university in a small town in central washington and we had about 20 people in a town with the population of 5,000 people.
Of course it's not exact statistics, but since we russians don't count as minority, (we're just national minority) i don't think that US government keeps track of our people. RUSSIANS ARE COMING (in no way i want to offend ukranians, jews or others, russians - it's just a better word to use in order to describe all-us who can speak russian language).
So in conclusion we count as 5% of total american population (250,000,000 total US population).
