Are you both GC holders or US Citizens or just him?
Do you have a property/money (funds, etc.) together you bought/establish together?
Do you have kind together?
Are you both working and if yes, who makes more money?

I divorced here in US 5 years ago, I can help you with a lot of staff, but it is a very long story (mine took a year and only because my ex-husband was not very much against it and because I had a very good American lawyer who helped me a lot!)
