Hi, Vladimir:
Of course, you may use the Green Card for yourself if the fact that your wife and a child would not join you for a few years is insignificant for you. My understanding is that the only member of your family having a Green Card is you, right? In this case, you fall under the 2d preference category (legal permanent resident) and will have to go through a "Petition for Alien Relative" to get your wife and a child Green Crads, and this process may take up to 4-5 years. |
